Shift into fall and winter driving

This month’s road safety goal is to prepare for fall and winter driving conditions. Choose one or more of the following activities to help you reach that goal, using the recommended resources.
The basics
These activities can help you focus on high-priority risks and basic compliance requirements.
- Install legal winter tires on all vehicles used for work by October 1, when they become mandatory on most BC highways. Check to make sure tires have at least 3.5 mm of tread and are in good condition.
