Identify hazards, assess risks, and take action

This month’s road safety goal is to identify hazards that are likely to cause crashes, assess the risks they create, and set priorities for action. Choose one or more of the following activities to help you reach that goal.
The basics
These activities can help you focus on high-priority risks and basic compliance requirements.
- Hold a tailgate meeting to find out which driving-related hazards pose the greatest risks for your employees. Then pick at least 2 of those hazards and start taking steps to reduce the risks.
