
RiskCheck: Conducting Road Safety Risk Assessments

Workshop description
Hosted by the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC, this free-of-charge, 2.5-hour workshop takes participants through hazard identification and risk assessment from a road safety perspective. During this in-person workshop, participants will:
- Learn about resources that help to identify and categorize driving-related hazards, systematically evaluate risks, and set priorities to control those risks
- Apply what they’ve learned in a group activity
- Be provided a demonstration and access to a free online tool (RiskCheck), which can be used to perform and document risk assessments and produce effective action plans
Participants will receive a certificate of participation upon completion. There is no charge for this workshop, but you must register with Road Safety at Work to attend. Once registered, further information will be provided to you via email.
Space is limited to 24 participants, so please register early for 2.5 hour in-person workshop.
Who should attend
BC-based company owners, managers, supervisors, health and safety practitioners, Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee members, and anyone who develops and implements programs to keep employees safe when they drive for work.
