Overview

Road Safety At Work is a WorkSafeBC initiative aimed at eliminating work-related motor vehicle crashes, deaths and injuries in British Columbia. Road Safety At Work offers free online resources and courses — as well as workshops, webinars and consulting services — to help organizations plan, implement and monitor effective road safety programs.

Services

This website is one of our core services, all of which are free. It contains topic-specific resources, tools and courses to help employers start or enhance an occupational road safety program in their organizations.

Our other services are:

  • Workshops: These usually run half a day during which time participants learn how to effectively use the content on this website to address the unique road safety issues and needs of their organizations.
  • Webinars: The standard webinar is an online, interactive, one-hour session on a specific road safety topic. Each one offers up-to-date information as well as practical suggestions on how to manage a specific road safety issue.
  • Consulting services: These can be done in person, on the phone or by email. During consultations we can review a safety program to identify strengths and gaps, and collaborate to develop policies, safe work procedures or solutions for a specific issue.
