The Cone Zone exhibit was set up at the BC Road Builder's Golf Tournament on May 1, 2015 to share plans for the Cone Zone campaign launch on May 11. One of the highlights for this year's campaign is a new roadside safety tool kit for employers, supervisors and workers.
Congratulations to Jeremy Bain, winner of our draw for the vehicle safety kit with one year of roadside assistance
The timing could not be better as Jeremy and his wife Dianna recently celebrated the arrival of their first child Angus in March. Jeremy, who grew up in New Zealand, is an avid world traveller who has been to many countries that lack the culture of safety and worker health that we enjoy in British Columbia. Being able to raise a family in a progressive community and safety culture is a privilege that he does not take for granted. As a project manager and member of the health and safety team at Surespan, Jeremy is active in promoting and improving the health and safety culture in the field, and in the office.
Whether on a job site, in a Cone Zone or at the office, at Surespan they live by the slogan, “Safety, it’s a SURE thing”.
